Did you know?
The taste of marjoram is often described as being woody yet sweet and with a floral note. When put to use in the kitchen, marjoram can add an amazing range of flavors to soups, stews and other sauces.
Because marjoram is part of the plant subspecies ‘Oreganum’ it has a similar leaf structure to that of oregano. One really similar feature is that there are small hairs on the fresh leaf just like mint or oregano.
